Lentil and Rice Patties

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 25 minutes 


  • cup brown rice, cooked
  •  1 cup brown lentils, cooked
  • ½ cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup carrot, finely grated
  • 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 4 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • teaspoons mixed Italian herbs
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (use gluten-free)

  1. Take a bowl and add the cooked rice, lentils, parsley, grated carrots, Italian herb, onion, garlic, and black pepper
  2. now start cooking by adding oil to a skillet.
  3. Coat each patty with breadcrumbs, and then add it to the skillet. 
  4. cook the patties from both sides until brown.
  5. Serve hot.
