Marinated Chicken Breasts

  • tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • cloves garlic, minced 
  • 4 tablespoons of basil, fresh 
  • 2 teaspoons of red chili powder 
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 pounds of chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 /4 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin

  1. The first step is to preheat the oven for a few minutes at 400 degrees F. 
  2. Take a large plastic zip lock bag and add olive oil, balsamic vinegar, basil leaves, garlic, black pepper, red chili powder, cumin, low-fat yogurt, and turmeric.
  3. Mix it all well and add the chicken pieces.
  4. Mix so the chicken coats well.
  5. Then marinate it for 4 hours inside the refrigerators. 
  6. Take out the chicken just before cooking.
  7. Let it sit for 10 minutes. 
  8. Now put the chicken in an oil greased baking tray and bake for 35 minutes.
  9. Once the chicken's internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F, it has done. 
  10. Serve and enjoy.
