Chipotle Spiced Shrimp

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 12 minutes 


  • 1-pound uncooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons water 
  • 1/3 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil 
  • 1/3 teaspoon minced garlic 
  • 1/3 teaspoon chipotle chili powder 
  • 1/3 teaspoon chopped fresh oregano

  1. rinse and pat dry the shrimp. 
  2. Take a small bowl and mix the water, tomato paste, oil, garlic, chili powder, and oregano.
  3. mix the ingredients well.
  4. spread the marinade onto the shrimps and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  5. Prepare a gas grill or broiler and grease the rack with oil spray. 
  6. place the shrimp in a grill basket and add it to the grill.
  7. Turn the shrimp after 4 minutes.
  8. once the shrimp get cooked, serve hot.
