Marinated Portobello Mushrooms with Provolone

Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 8 minutes


  • 4 Portobello mushrooms, stemmed and wiped clean 
  • 1 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary 
  • 2teaspoons minced garlic 
  • 2 ounces of provolone cheese

  1. First, preheat the grill.
  2. Place rack 4 inches above the heat source.
  3. Coat the baking tray with cooking oil.
  4. Put the mushrooms in the dish, stem less-side up.
  5. Whisk the vinegar, orange juice, rosemary, and garlic. 
  6. pour it over the mushrooms.
  7. Grill the mushrooms for 4 minutes on each side.
  8. Once it has done add cheese on top.
  9. Serve it hot.
